I couldn’t believe it when he showed me the house he’s bought. What a dump! But it’s his inheritance, he can spend it how he likes. “It’ll be fun,” he said, “we can stay here during the summer while I renovate.” That’s not going to happen. Maybe when it’s finished, but not now.
I’m not exactly a high maintenance girl, but I’m not spending a minute in that wreck until he’s made it habitable. I like a complete roof and four solid walls.
He’s spending this weekend there, leaving me home alone. So you could come and spend the night.
Oh! My first thought was I could understand her hesitation. Then I got to the end. Lol. And now things look a little different. I like it. Now where’s my free reply?
I’m a gentleman of my word, here is my reply! I doubt she would want to visit anyway from her reaction – and things are less than ideal between them. And now being able to have a “visitor” for the weekend is just a bonus
