Versatile Blogger Award
I feel like a bit of a gatecrasher, I’ve only been here a couple of months so THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to http://onlinedatingjournal.wordpress.com for the nomination.
Versatile Blogger Award Rules:
1. Thank the person, who nominated you.
Check! See above, and please please make sure you visit her site – you will LOVE it!
2. Tell seven things about yourself.
Okay then…
I live in Southampton on the South coast of England (home port of the Mayflower and the Titanic).
I love the Muppets, and Fozzie is my comedy hero.
Over the years I have been a writer, singer, pub quizmaster, actor, standup comedian, music producer and poet. These have earnt me exactly £20, a fourpack of beer and 2 bottles of champagne.
I started writing when I was about 8 using my Dad’s old typewriter.
I have stayed up all night to watch the results of every UK general election and US presidential election since 1992.
At my funeral I would like Build A Fire by The KLF played as the curtains close around my coffin.
I once proposed to Helena Bonham Carter by post. She declined but did so with a lovely letter and signed pic.
3. Nominate 15 other bloggers.
Well I am pretty new to blogging so I’m not sure I follow 15 others, but I enjoy these and hope you do too:

Thank you kindly. I’ll have to figure out a post to thank you properly.
Youre welcome! Have you submitted any work yet?
I’m working on something for august. I’m trying to find a short/poem I like worth submitting. That’s the hard part. How are the biscuits?
This comment was sat in my spam folder for some reason, hence I hadn’t replied!
Hope something jumps out at you, begging to be sent off. from what i have read of your posts / shorts you are a very good writer 🙂
A few biscuits, but i have been so busy i havent had time to sit down and write all week. so they are social biscuits (acceptable) not literary biscuits (unacceptable). hoping to find time to write tomorrow, and will try v v v hard to stay focussed and away from the tin.
Thank you. 🙂
You’re very welcome.
i love reading your haikus –
They do make me smile 🙂
Thanks so much! I’ll post soon 🙂
you’re welcome! good to see you back
Fozzie is my hero too! I particularly like him in Veterinarian’s Hospital with Janice and Rowlf
agreed! and top marks for remembering Janice’s name – she is the one member of the Electric Mayhem that people forget!
How could anyone forget Janice?! I’m sure there is something of her in the main character in my latest novel!
and i KNOW there is something of fozzie in every funny line i write!
I do also have a soft spot for Rowlf… and another favourite of course is Dr Bunsen Honeydew… and Beaker of course! I loved them in “Christmas Carol!”
Thanks much for stopping by my blog and for the follow.
