After Two Weeks

10 June, 2012

I was off two weeks ago, Girl At Work was off last week. Tomorrow, we work together again.

I cannot wait, and told her so. I told her on FB that I had missed the chats and meeting up for a tea run, and she agreed. I may have to increase my flirting a bit and see what happens. I’ve still tagged this post “no chance” though.

Aw, maybe there’s something to it. My friend harps on me about self-fulfilling prophesies. There’s always a chance, isn’t there? πŸ™‚

    • I hope so. I’m sure I’ll blog about it whatever happens. What I need is a good excuse to go out and get pissed with her πŸ™‚

(pissed in the English sense of drunk that is, not in the American sense of angry – don’t think that would help my chances!)

Lol. Okay! I was like, “pissed?! How does that work out?” Good luck making headway this week. I’m trying to figure out my relationship with a guy friend of mine so I understand. Perhaps he and I should go get pissed.

      • ah, the confusions of American/English english!
when you say “figure out my relationship with” you mean “figure out how to get to go to bed with” don’t you πŸ˜‰ getting pissed is a good start.
The easiest way is to just make a move, but i’m not brave enough, and i don’t want to spoil the friendship. life’s never that simple is it?

Lol. I’m not trying to move quite that fast in spite of what my body wants. I’m working up the nerve to have that conversation with him so like I said, sympathetic.

      • yep, we are in exactly the same situation!
If nothing else, it has inspired a short piece that i will write and post soon…
