The TRG Winery

22 June, 2012

The other night, rather than sleeping, I was chatting to Marian over at Creative Noodling and mentioned making my own wine. So here is a pic of what’s brewing in my lounge at the moment:

To the left we have 4 gallons of rhubarb wine, the darker one is a gallon of Vimto wine – yes! wine made out of VIMTO! – and in the green bucket are 3kg of mangoes which are fermenting nicely and will soon become 2 gallons of mango wine.

A gallon makes about 6 bottles, which being homebrew is MUCH stronger than the stuff you can buy in the shops. So that’s 42 bottles of Chateau TRG falling-over-juice on the way. Who wants to drop by in a couple of months and sample some?

  1. I would love to come and try some! Especially if it’s even stronger 🙂

    • I’ll post some pics when it’s ready, then just pop by whenever you like. Make sure you get a cab though, you can’t drive after a glass or two 😉
