Sharing a bed across the sea

14 July, 2012

We talk, we ask

We tell, we share

We are apart

We are separated

We are in

Different continents

Different lives

Different times

But sometimes

Our lives coincide

And then

We are together

Our bodies naked, uncovered

Our souls exposed, vulnerable

Our minds open, receptive

By screenlight

We snuggle, we whisper,

We listen, we share

But we never lie

Together, sharing a bed across the sea

    Lovely poetry. Very nice. 🙂

  2. I like this very much. Very romantic.

  3. “But we never lie
Together, sharing a bed across the sea”

This is a really good ending, particularly the double meaning in “lie.”
