A False Truth

12 November, 2012

An epidemic of sniggering schaudenfreude
prevails as the populus watch, transfixed.
Broadcast entertainment pollutes
transmitted nightly
encouraging demographic self-awareness and self-doubt
Another one dusts the bite they say

flumes of saline torrents
confirm the question
question the confirmation.
Can we trust those we see and hear?
Or should we doubt when they say here is the sea?

Is this genuine?
Is this to be believed?

Is there a duplicitous deceit?
Doubt the veracity
Deny the definitive definition
And cry
There is no merit
This is false
