Choon Choosday: Talking Heads – The Great Curve

I love Talking Heads, musically they are my favourite band (my favourite band is The KLF for reasons that go beyond the music, but that’s another, very very long post). Remain In Light was produced by Brian Eno and includes the legendary Once In A Lifetime, but for me The Great Curve is the standout track. It’s the mix of the addictive African rhythm and the horns that do it for me. And the vocals, OMAFG the vocals. Three different vocal lines interweaving with a perfection that makes me cry, and makes it a
