Larry enjoys the sun

5 March, 2013

It has been cloudy and dull for a while here as the grey of winter refuses to lessen its grip. But this week there has been a change and the sun has been spreading a bright pre-spring warmth. The chillis on my lounge windowsill have begun to germinate, the aubergine seedlings at work have reached two inches high, and it is gloriously warm at the plate glass windows where I work. So for the first time in months, I treated Larry to a bit of sunbathing.

As I was snapping a few pics, GAW came over to admire him, and even brought Barry her bonsai tree over to join Laz as he soaked up the rays. I went back to my desk, went about my day. And then GAW emailed me a pic she had taken just over a year ago of a younger Larry:

All this time I’ve been wondering if she has any feelings for me, but it’s pics of Larry that she has stored on her hard drive. What does that tell you?

  1. Oh, Larry, how you’ve grown. 🙂

  2. At least Larry gets a window at his work, wish I had one at my job! Enjoy the sun why you have it Gentleman.

  3. Wow: your plants play together… and she’s even saved baby-plant pics of Larry…. Yeah, she’s TOTALLY into you! 🙂
