Very Inspiring Blogger

18 April, 2013

Thank you to the lovely and talented Renee for nominating me for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. I’ve been nominated for this before but it’s always nice to be recognised by a fellow blogger.

By law I now have to reveal seven things about me, so here goes:

  • If I was a full-time writer, I would be nocturnal
  • Torquay Utd are my second favourite football team
  • I have seen Torquay play twice – won one (vs Rochdale), lost one (vs Southampton)
  • In chip shops, I always order pea fritter and chips
  • I have never seen Titanic. Or Saving Private Ryan. Or Dirty Dancing
  • Doing grocery shopping is favourite domestic task
  • If I went on Desert Island Discs, I would choose Don Quixote as my book.

  1. You and I need to watch movies together. You haven’t lived till you’ve seen Dirty Dancing. What the hell is a pea fritter?? It sounds delectable.

    • RENEE… WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!?!? Well actually, I guess ‘inspiring’ in the sense of wanting to slap the shit stuffing out of him sometimes… a sentiment that others have also expressed on this very site as well!

Yes, what the hell is a pea fritter?

      • Hey, don’t you hate on my dear RG. He and I have written a good dirty, er, erotic story before. The man gives good word, so yes, he does inspire me. 🙂

I still need to know what the hell a pea fritter is, and I flat out REFUSE to Google it.

        Giggle, snort!

    • when i’m on my book tour i’ll make sure i visit your local cinema 🙂
Pea fritters have to be made with proper mushy peas:

  2. I think you’re quite inspiring contrary to what Ted says. He’s a party pooper. ❤

  3. Ummm Ted? Did I miss something somewhere?

    1) TRG has many a girl blogger swoon with his words.
    2) TRG can watch Dirty Dancing with Renee but I get Saving Private Ryan, Sound of Music, and The Music Man.
    3) I am still lost by Ted’s comment….I think he may be sweet on you TRG….watch out 🙂
