Saturday Smile – 11th May

11 May, 2013

In this crazy world that sometimes feels like it’s going to heck in a handkerchief, are there still those little pleasures that make you smile? Well, yes there are, and here just a few of them:

  • Watching football with no real concern for the result
  • Cat pictures
  • Listening to Bob Marley when the weather is nice
  • Visiting your usual supermarket / pub / cinema and being recognised by the staff

What makes you smile? Share your pleasures below, or post them on your blog and link back

  1. My mind is in a jumble, but let me think…

Spending Mother’s Day weekend with my mom before I leave.
Seeing things come together when I wasn’t sure they would
Writing a story that really got me going.

  2. These: Family bike rides through the park, farmer’s markets, good coffee!!

    • My dislike of coffee is well documented, but i agree with the others. It’s interesting to see how often family comes up in other people’s smiles

      • I’m sorry, are you the blogger that had coffee spilled on you as a child? I thought it was another person this whole time (its been about four months since you posted the story I believe, or I could still be mixed up) I tried very carefully to not mention coffee on his blog. Oops.

      • yep, that was me! That story was a while ago, and it’s been many years since the actual spillage. I still cant drink coffee even now, but my reaction to your mentioning it was only teasing 🙂

      • 🙂 still sorry
