A question to start this post – who (apart from Paula) can tell me the connection between this song and the fact that it rained most of yesterday in Manchester? Anyone?

Well, the rain oop north yesterday meant that the third Test ended in a draw (helped along by Michael Clarke batting too long on the fourth day) and England retained The Ashes.
