Saturday Smile – 10th August

10 August, 2013

it’s been a tiring week as I have been feeding my sister’s cats twice a day and their timekeeping is disappointingly slapdash. But amongst the hours of watching out for them to come home, there have been moments that made me smile.

  • Larry has sprouted two more new branches (pics to follow)
  • Rickie Lambert, Southampton’s goal machine, being selected to play for England
  • Retaining the Ashes
  • Knowing that this time next week I will be in France, my first trip abroad for seven years

I know you’ve smiled this week, why not tell me when and why?

  1. Yay Larry! I can’t think of anything decent today, but it wasn’t a bad week so I can smile about that. 🙂

  2. well I’ve been smiling since I read your Friday Fictioneers – Crash, so that’s a pretty long time to smile right there 😀
BUT, the thing that’s making me smile to the point of outright laughter is your catsitting adventures, living in a 4 cat household (plus 2 dogs) I feel your pain, lol, it’s always a ton of fun when I have to leave the house and there’s still one cat outside refusing to come in and the sky is about to open up and pour down… I’m convinced there’s a cat-conspiracy going on over here.

other than that, I got nothing, it’s been a way too busy week to find time to smile 😉

  3. My neighbors son was listening to his mother and I talk the other day and then he interrupted and asked his Mom when he could go to my house for a Play Date. I love little kids so of course I had to talk to him about what kind of art we could make and I got all excited for him to come and play. He hasn’t come over yet : ( He made me smile from the inside though!
