Who wants to see my erection?

2 September, 2013

Not that sort of erection, geez you people have filthy minds.

I hinted in a couple of recent posts that I have acquired a new shed, £65 for an 8 by 6, what a bargain. It came without a floor though so last weekend I bought some decking to site it on, re-felted the roof, and my brother-in-law and I spent about four hours putting it all together. For a total outlay of around £130 I have a sturdy and spacious new shed. Gawsh am i proud of it.

Now I am of course the world’s worst DIY-er but I am an expert screwdriver-passer and wall-holder-upper so my services were invaluable. I was even allowed to have a go on the power tools at one point and noone needed an ambulance.

There are a few bits n pieces still to sort out – i need to put up some shelves and i am on the lookout for a cheap desk to act as a worktop/workstation but ladeeeeeeeez n gennelmennnnnnn, heeeeeeere’s my shed!

PS don’t  be fooled, it’s a combination of my wonky photography, the hill, the old rickety green shed leaning and the sloping roof that create the Esher-esque illusion that it’s about to topple over. It IS straight, honest!

  1. Congrats, TRG! And great post-title. 😉

  2. Well done! That is an award winning erection! So in case you want it, it’s yours ❤ 😀

  3. Still think its pretty sexy, your proud erection. 😉

  4. you could extend decking a little further that the front maybe next spring and get a little patio going there aswell and have somewhere to sit and muse on a summer evening watch nature at her best 😀 P.s is it looking like a good harvest and will you be selling those hampers we were all admiring last christmas to us less talented gardeners this year?

    • Good idea, a nice patio. i think i’ll try that.
not a bumper crop this year 😦 i’ll be making hampers but buying in a lot of the fruit n veg. not the same 😦

      • and if you are doing patio on budget if you know anyone who works in a warehouse and can get you pallets free or cheap they are a great way of doing them (or so all the picture of FB show)

      • Ta for the twitter link! They look brilliant
