Friday Fictioneers – Koi

1 November, 2013

Friday’s golden fingers stretch across the november sky, feeling its way nervously into a new day and a new month. Friday means FriFic of course. It would not be possible to take any valuables – their worth would be nothing in the forest, their weight would only slow them down. Cast them into the river for the Water Goddess to preserve until their return.

The brightly coloured stones and metals caused deep, foaming ripples on the water’s surface. And when it stilled, fish of red and green and gold gathered.
