Choon Choosday: The Bad Shepherds – Going Underground

Continuing the occasional series of Gigs I Was At, here are The Bad Shepherds playing live at The Brook. They play here a couple of times a year and I always manage to miss them, but when they were here again a few months back I made sure I finally went. And a top gig it was too.

Those familiar with British TV may have heard of Ade Edmondson already from shows like The Young Ones, Bottom, Filthy Rich and Catflap, The Comic Strip Presents, and he was on celebrity Masterchef once aswell. Anyway, n0wadays he gigs more than he acts. The Bad Shepherds play almost exclusively covers of old punk / 70s / 80s tunes in an irish style, and if that sound like your thing then you will no doubt agree this is a
