Choon Choosday: Richard Cheese – Gin and Juice

O M Actual M-Fing G, how have I not posted Richard Cheese before?

Hallowe’en 1999, a friend of mine asked me to visit her in London for the weekend and we met with her new girlfriend and we toured a load of bars and clubs. That night, a DJ played Richard’s version of Radiohead’s Creep – one of the greatest covers ever, and it took me years to find out who it was by. They ended up getting married, and i gave them a Richard Cheese CD as a present and as a reminder of that night.

This is one of my favourite Cheese covers, and I’m delighted to share it with you. I don’t need to explain it, it will be obviously and clearly a

  1. I wonder how many places played that while clubbers bounced along to it, not really listening to the words… Its quite cheeky and feel-good. Nice one (two)
