The new Trainspotting film T2 is out this week, so what a wonderful excuse to mine one of the splendid songs featured on its soundtrack and that of its predecessor. Or maybe from the remix album that went with the original.

Ewan McGregor’s speech is one of the iconic passages of modern cinema, up there with Samuel L Jackson’s biblical quote in Reservoir Dogs, and here it is set to a house backing with a nice acidy 303 riff burnt through it.
