I’ve extolled the virtues of Richard D James on this site many times. He is the greatest living electronic musician, he is my all-time musical hero. I saw him DJ once in London about 10 years ago; it was the best set I’ve ever seen. And on Saturday I will be in London to see him again. I have been looking forward to this all year.

RDJ is undefinable, he covers every conceivable sub-genre from the lightest ephereal ambient to severe noisecore and gabba. Here is a fine example of how he manages to combine two genres at the same time as Flim is both airiy wisp-like but has a frantic jungle rhythm underneath. All bow down and hail RDJ, the one true master. Everything he touches is a
