Choon Choosday: The KLF – America What Time is Love

Happy Independence Day to all those millions of followers I have in the US of the A.

Here are The KLF claiming that although Columbus may have been the first European to “discover” the Americas in 1492, they were actually beaten to it by the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu who got there some 500 years earlier. The exact location of the ancient land of Mu is lost in time now of course; some claim it was in fact Atlantis, others that it was a rocky outcrop off the Western Isles of Scotland, while there is a theory that it existed only in the minds of Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson.

Whatever that truth might have been, Bill and Jim reworked part 1 of their Stadium House Trilogy to bring us this little nugget to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of that voyage by the JAMMs. And, being The KLF, the resultant work is an absolute
