Choon Choosday: Goldie – I Adore You

Some 20-odd years ago Goldie came to the fore as one of the poineers of Drum n Bass. And he’s still bringing out glorious tracks like this one. Glorious vocals and a rolling liquid rhythm make this a solid banger. An absolute

Choon Choosday: Rødhåd – Target Line

A bit of a step down this week as we present something from the deeper, darker recesses of House. Listen to this with the lights off and the sinister bass will have you wondering what’s lurking in the shadows. And the video will give you nightmares too.

Friday Fictioneers- Garage

Sorry I missed Fic last Fri, I didn’t get a chance as it was such a crazy week. In a good way. A very good way indeed. Which one day I might share with you. But moving on…

The wife’s becoming like her myna bird, asking over and over again when I’ll be finished building that damn garage. And I have to explain, every time; a project like this, I say, takes patience, attention to detail. Any cowboy could build a garage in a weekend, and then be picking up bits of garage from all over the neighbourhood come the first big storm.

I’m nearly finished now; just the electrics, the walls and the floor. But before the floor goes down, I have to fill the hole beneath it. Then she’ll stop asking me over and over again.
