Swingers

4 October, 2012

Swingers is a magnificent film, here is one of my favourite scenes. Can you guess which character I am most like?

  1. I can guess before even watching the clip. πŸ™‚ This is one of my favorite movies. “That’s so money, baby” is an awesome line.

    • yep, you guessed it, im vince vaughn πŸ˜‰

      • LOL … I love him. He’s so smooth. And he never shuts up. He is SO funny, in all his movies. One of your personalities is Vince. But in person, I can so see you making the infamous phone call. Except, you’d never really muster the courage to dial, would you? πŸ˜‰

      • yep, you know me too well πŸ™‚ that phone call would be me if i was ever brave enough!
i go and see everything VV makes, he is a legend in our house because he was Trent in Swingers.

    • i must start saying “youre so money” to people

      • Or a clever variation … like, “you’re so cash.” It could mean so many things. Plus, it just sounds cool.

      • i like that! there is an insurance company or bank or something over here called Money Supermarket and in their ads they say “youre so money supermarket.” It’s painful to see, and 90% of the viewers will have no idea where its from

    • “Beautiful babies” is also a great phrase. The thing is, he’s super cute. If he would just sit at the bar not saying anything and looking mysterious, the numbers would just fall into his lap. I love that whole bear/bunny analogy. That is priceless. πŸ™‚

  2. here is THAT phone call (or THOSE phone calls) that flipside referred to. Hilarious, but tragic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0PUrNwvvBk&feature=fvwrel

  3. That’s a terrible catch phrase! They need to upgrade their advertising department. I don’t know why, but I think you should be in advertising. You are very clever and funny.

  4. Only you would know. Do you have that much to spare that you can make that word a verb?
